Log into your dashboard to download the archive (.tsa) and software (.exe).
-
1After setting up your free TradeStation account (no deposit required), log into tradestation.com and click Platforms.

-
2Download "Desktop with OptionStation Pro." Your browser may warn that the file is unverified — this is expected. Proceed with the download.
⚠ Important: Raider Trading requires TradeStation Desktop with OptionStation Pro only. TradeStation MCP and TITAN X are not supported. -
3Before installation, right-click your desktop → Display Settings. Click on your primary monitor and navigate to Scale and Layout.

-
4Ensure the text scale is set to exactly 100%. This is critical — incorrect scaling will cause the software to misread screen coordinates. Recommended display ratio: 16:9 (1920×1080, 2560x1440 with TS in fullscreen) or 32:9 (3840×1080, 5120x1440 with TS snapped left). Other ratios will work but may require coordinate adjustment (covered in Step 3.5).

-
5Run TradeStation Setup.exe from your downloads folder. During installation, set Monitors: 1 — even if you have multiple displays. Click "Update Now" if prompted to finish with the latest version.

-
1Log into raidertrading.com and download the TradeStation Archive file (
Raider Trading.tsa). The TradeStation Indicators file (.eld) is optional — all necessary indicators are already packaged inside the .tsa archive.

2Log into your TradeStation account (simulated account recommended — see Disclaimer).

-
3Navigate to File → Backup/Restore TradeStation → Restore TradeStation Archive.

-
4Click Browse, select the
Raider Trading.tsafile you downloaded, then click Open and Start Restore (close current instance of TradeStation, no need to save default workspace).
-
5Click Proceed to confirm overwriting existing studies and strategies with the Raider Trading indicators.

-
6If the update or restore failed for any reason, close the automatic update window and navigate to Help → Update Manager, and install the latest update from this window.

-
7Log back into your TradeStation account (simulated recommended)
Close any open workspaces (bottom-left) by right-clicking on each tab → Close Workspace.
-
8Click Auto Hide to minimize the top trade bar.

-
9Navigate to View → Application Toolbars and click "Hide All".

-
10Navigate to File → Workspaces → Open Workspaces → Charts & Orders.

-
11Click "Open Windows with Items Enabled" and click the "Charts" tab near the bottom-left.

-
12Right-click on the 10 Second Bar chart → Studies → Edit Studies...

-
13Double-click GlobalAccount_Broadcaster → click Inputs → replace the placeholder with your account number (inside the quotes) → click OK.

Note — See Risk Disclaimer: Trading involves substantial risk and most day traders lose money. Raider Trading recommends use in simulated environments only. Use with live capital is not encouraged and is at your own risk. If you enter a live account number, real money will be at risk — you assume full responsibility for all outcomes. Raider Trading LLC assumes zero liability for any financial losses.
-
14Double-click GlobalBaseRisk_Broadcaster → click Inputs → replace the value → click OK to set and save a default risk level across all tickers and sessions.

Note — Risk Adjustment Hotkey: On the 10 Second Bar chart, press Ctrl + ↑ to increase risk or Ctrl + ↓ to decrease risk in increments of 5. Changing tickers or closing TradeStation will revert the risk level back to your GlobalBaseRisk value. Avoid adjusting risk while a position is active.
-
1Log into raidertrading.com and download the Raider Trading Software (

-
5If the Sub-Regions are not aligned, click "Set Box" then hold left-click and drag within TradeStation from the upper-left to the bottom-right of the Sub-Region area to recalibrate.

-
6In Raider Trading, select your Trading Strategy — Long Mode or Short Mode — Click Start → then immediately click anywhere inside the 10 Second Bar Chart window in TradeStation. You should see the chart border highlight, confirming focus.
