The most common cause is that after clicking Start in the Raider Trading software, you must click inside the 10-Second Bar Chart in TradeStation. The order-enabled indicators live on that chart — if it doesn't have focus, no trades will execute.
If trades still don't execute after confirming chart focus, also verify your GlobalAccount_Broadcaster is configured correctly (see the FAQ below).
If you skipped or mistyped the account number step during setup, Raider Trading will not be able to route orders. The account number must be entered inside the quotes in the GlobalAccount_Broadcaster input field.
"YOUR_ACCOUNT_NUMBER" — with your number replacing the placeholder text but keeping the quotes intact.
The Ctrl + ↑ and Ctrl + ↓ hotkeys (while clicked in the 10 Second Bar Chart) are temporary adjustments only — they are not saved between sessions or ticker changes.
Use the hotkeys only for quick, temporary risk changes within a session when you want to deviate from your saved default.
This can happen if you were in an existing long position and switched to short mode (or vice versa). TradeStation may reject the conflicting order, and certain indicator studies will automatically turn themselves off — causing their associated hotkeys to stop working.
When this happens, some studies will turn themselves off, which you can see in the Edit Studies window:
Raider Trading is most compatible with Windows 10. Some newer versions of Windows 11 introduced stricter privilege and focus handling that can cause TradeStation to respond slowly or miss hotkey inputs. If you are on Windows 11 and experiencing issues, the fixes below are listed in order of impact — try them one at a time.
