Protecting your account and your trading is something we take seriously. This page lays out, plainly, what actually happens to your data and why the way Raider Trading is built keeps your broker credentials out of the picture entirely.
This is the biggest structural difference between Raider Trading and most trading-automation platforms, and it's worth explaining clearly: Raider Trading never connects to TradeStation over a network, and never has access to your TradeStation username, password, or account.
The EasyLanguage indicators you install run natively inside your own TradeStation platform, using TradeStation's own built-in tools to read your position and order data and place orders, exactly like any other indicator or strategy you'd install yourself. The only link between those indicators and the Raider Trading dashboard is a pair of small text files that live on your own computer: one that TradeStation writes and the dashboard reads, and one the dashboard writes and TradeStation reads.
There is no API key, no OAuth token, and no broker credential of any kind stored on our servers or transmitted over a network at any point. If our servers were ever compromised, there is nothing there that could be used to access your brokerage account, because we never had it in the first place.
Your Raider Trading account password is never stored in plain text. It's run through a one-way cryptographic hash before it's saved, which means even we can't see or recover your actual password. We can only verify that what you typed matches. We'd recommend using a unique password for your Raider Trading account that you don't reuse elsewhere, since that's the single biggest thing under your control.
All billing is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor used by a large share of the internet's subscription businesses. Your card details are sent directly to Stripe and never pass through or get stored on Raider Trading's own servers.
The Raider Trading website, license server, and dashboard communications are all served over HTTPS (TLS), so data moving between your computer and our servers (account creation, login, license checks) is encrypted in transit.
If you believe you've found a security issue, or just have a question about how something works, email us directly at contact@raidertrading.com and we'll get back to you.
